With Sonar it's "insert Soft Synth" "add Midi Effect" and it arppegiates at the correct tempo without having to press play. Everything is sync-locked unless you choose not to, all from the same view complete with GUI's. I know sonar's had it's share of stability issues in the past but the more I see of logic, the more I appreciate Sonar. I wish they made a Mac version though.
