Question by YAS: For Mac Users ! does Final Cut Studio is enough for making commercials?
Hi,
Briefly, I dont know how to use programs like Maya, 4D Cinema, etc. Basically, creating animation is hard for me coz I never learned that ! but I can use final cut and able to create my own music by GarageBand and thinking of “Logic Studio” but I want to add very good programs to this final cut to make good commercials !! I consider myself new to this visual effects world so do you think final cut is enough for everything or am I missing alot of things ??

I work in a professional post production facility. We make national and international TV spots (Best Buy, Target, etc.)
We use Final Cut Studio as well as many of what you mentioned. Depending on the TV spot, Final Cut Studio is more than enough. Great tools for many things. And all work great together.
By the way, any and all Apple TV commercials are cut with Final Cut Studio for obvious reasons.

Testing out the new IR-909 beta 3 for iPhone. Within a couple minutes, I had filled all 4 patterns with some killer beats and decided I’d hook it up to Logic Pro. Somewhat a hassle to sync the BPM’s with Logic, but the result spoke for it’s self. I’d definitely like to see the next version have more patterns, but 4 is okay.
